Yearly Special Events for Adults

Through rewarding partnerships with local schools and organizations, Community Services sponsors a number of special events for adults throughout the year:

  • For winter 2018, Community Services hosts the Passport Around the World Party (our dance for girls in grades K-6 and their adult guests) — a special occasion held at Meijer Gardens and filled with fun and memories. Save the date — Friday, February 2, 2018.
  • In May, we host our Healthy Living Lecture Series with an afternoon of interesting health lectures, health screenings, and refreshments at the Fine Arts Center. It's an informative, fun event for all mature adults, seniors, and their families!
  • Each summer, area residents are treated to a special picnic hosted by Cascade Township officials and firefighters.
  • Each fall, area residents enjoy a live musical performance (usually a vocalist with musicians) at the Fine Arts Center.
  • And every December we welcome the holiday season with a festive luncheon supported by local merchants.
