Prior swimming or water polo experience is preferred but not required. Players will work on passing, shooting, various drills, building strength in treading water and swimming, and game strategy. For water polo options beyond FHPS, check out the Michigan Water Polo Association.

FHPS Introductory Competitive Diving Classes, Ages 8+

FHPS Intermediate Competitive Diving Classes, Ages 10+

Would you like to twist, flip, rotate, and somersault in mid-air? Introductory and intermediate classes are designed to teach the skills needed for competitive diving. Learn an approach, hurdle, and how to implement these skills into a dive. The dives and/or jumps taught will be introduced by the instructor on an individual basis. Safety is of the utmost importance. For the introductory class, the participant must be able to swim a minimum of 25 yards and have jumped off a 1-meter diving board before.
